Nude Pointed Heels

Nude pointed heels are truly versatile. They pair well with every skin tone, look really classy and can even make your legs look long and lean.

For an event, pair your heels with a maxi dress or skirt for a barely-there peep toe, or wear a pair of heel-length trousers for a no-nonsense ritzy effect. Shorter skirts and dresses work perfectly, but it’s best to pair them with stockings that are a similar colour to your shoes or bare legs. Tight pants look less formal, but totally hot with nude shoes, so it really depends on the event.

While nude shoes pair well with all accessories, you can dramatically change the tone of your style by the choices you make. For a feminine look, try accessorising your nude pointed heels with bags, jewellery and hair adornments in similar nudes, muted whites, creams, ballet pinks, light greys and golds. 

For a more striking appearance, try pairing your shoes with black, stark whites or silvers, darker greys, bright colours and even fluoro colours. Accessories made with silk, satin, lace, natural beads, feathers and metals look particularly sweet with nude shoes, so there’s plenty of room for experimentation.

If you have a similar skin tone, your nude heels will make your legs look fabulous in shorts. If your skin tone isn’t similar, your legs will still look amazing, but you may not achieve such a leg-lengthening illusion. Any style or colour pairs well with nude shoes, but shorts that sit mid-thigh or above look best. 

Tight shorts – such as denim cut-offs – look cool with nude heels, but looser shorts with light fabrics look slightly more refined and feminine. Breezy, mid-calf culottes with nude heels are also a nice look, as the heels give some much-needed length to this style.
